Job Description
- •In a nutshell: We are looking for an HR Working Student who is passionate about engaging people through their communication skills and structured work approach. We have grown from 30 to over 80 employees within a year, and we aim to continue this growth. Help us build a perfect Employee & Onboarding Journey for new Materanis. Work with us in our Berlin office or flexibly hybrid. Start immediately or within the next 3 months. Your Role at Matera:
- •Shape the onboarding of new team members – from first contact to the first day of work.
- •Organize our office life – material orders, workstation setups & everything that keeps the operation running.
- •Beyond your core tasks, you will also assist with administrative topics such as payroll and contract adjustments.
- •Plan team events & offsites – whether Lunch & Learn, Summer Party, or our regular MATERA Nights.
- •Work closely with your Team Lead HR Cindy, our HR Working Student Chantal, and our Recruiter Steffen – but you will also receive significant responsibility for your own projects.
- •Get to know Matera and support exciting projects. What you bring:

- •Structured, detailed, and well-organized.
- •Nice to have: Initial experience with HR topics through studies or training.
- •Must have: C2 German proficiency and fluent English.
